The bed was soft, too soft. After sleeping on the hard ground for the last few nights, this was not going to work and if I slept on this soft bed, tomorrow night on the hard ground would be worse. How could an inn have such soft beds? I climbed back out of bed pulled off the blanket and pillow from the bed threw them roughly on the rug on the floor and laid down, pulling the blanket over me.
