            {Chad’s P.O.V.}

            The days I got to spend next to Lanie blurred into weeks and then months; in the blink of an eye, three months flew by just like that. Life now looked so different than it did back then. The night of the Alpha ceremony did not go as planned, but the good thing was no one died that night. We weren’t able to come up with a solid plan in the amount of time that we had so Richard, being the smart man that he is, decided to pull the plug on the ceremony.
