Mason POV

This luncheon was a hit for my brothers, and it looked like Michael would get his wish and get the twins to his bed soon. They seemed to be cozy enough, and all three seemed to be interested.

I am angry about the way we were attacked when we first arrived, and why the Alpha allows his people to do such a thing to visiting dignitaries and have been thinking about it all through lunch about how to fix it. Maybe I will discuss it with Dad later. He will know what to do, I hope.

So consumed in my thoughts and nodding or adding to the questions directed at me, I hardly noticed that I had not engaged in conversation with Heather until she leaned over and whispered in my ear if anything was wrong.
