Ezekiel knew that everything started to be a tangled mess because of him—if he didn’t made that lie up front just because Georgia arrived at a suspiciously right timing, if only he didn’t chose to continue the pretentious words he said out of a whim, if only he didn’t asked her to change her plans, and if only he didn’t gave her a reason to see him as someone who needs her help…maybe everything is still in the right place.

That series of thoughts bug his conscience nearly every hour. The fact that he is witnessing how she is struggling and dedicating herself to try and fit in with the new world he introduced her is more than enough to make him regret his selfishness every now and then. But despite the growin
