In which a lead was found.

“Could you repeat that for me, Ayne?” 

I could not say that I do not understand where my mother is coming from. Even if her tone seemed calm and collected, I could feel the panic and anger coursing through every letter in the question. Looking at the man sleeping in the living room, I made her aware that Tristen would be spending the night. It is probably hard to process everything when she knew that the man tried to pull something from me when intoxicated. Not only that, but a teenage boy whom she does not trust has a full entry into her home. 

After everything that happened with Zach, it was easy to realize that Ayana Kent does not easily grant access to her home. It was a situation that cut her ability
