I open my eyes before the alarm goes off. The image of a majestic black wolf lingers in my mind as Aria hums happily. She has been acting up for a week or so. She keeps musing about finding our second chance mate, but I ignore her. I will never accept another mate for as long as I live. I will not go through hell again.
