I give Samantha an incredulous look as Hyde howls. She smirked and put her sunglasses back on.

“Samantha,” Her mother barks.

“I do not accept your rejection,” I say without emotion. I set Kade down, “Why don’t you stay with your grandparents,” I looked at Samantha, “I need to talk to your mother.”
