Cecilia's POV

As soon as Charlie and Alexander left to go to Heathrow, Gramps and Cedric went to their rooms to unpack. That was my cue to make the dessert that I know is Gramps favorite. Raspberry Triffle. I hate to admit, I wasn't doing everything from scratch. That would take far to long.

While grocery shopping, I purchased a lemon pound cake, raspberry liquor, fresh raspberries, as well as raspberry jelly, vanilla custard and whipping cream. Cubing the cake, I placed a layer on the bottom of the triffle dish, brushed on some of the liquor, a layer of custard, a thin layer of jelly, then a layer of berries.
