By the time they finished their breakfast, Leo had to eat humble pie along with his eggs. He was forced to admit that this standard diner fare completely blew his high-end café out of the water. Panic began to set in; he knew he had to intervene before his own business went up in smoke. The last thing he wanted was to shut down one of his businesses.

When the waitress returned with their check, Leo decided to shoot his shot.

“Ma’am, could I ask you something?”

“Of course,” she said, offering a warm smile.

“You’re incredible at what you do. I’ve been watching, and it’s clear that everyone here appreciates the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the quality of the food. To be honest, I own a café, and I need help bringing it up to speed when it comes to hospitality and taste.
