Robbie was a champ. She only made a comment about the smell, noise, and crowded place once, and then raised her head and walked like she owned the place. Most girls constantly complain, but I couldn't do much to change the situation. But my girl accepted my answer and moved on, as if it was no longer a concern.

I walked proudly beside her, introducing her to those I thought would be good to meet, and avoided some of the less desirable sorts.
