Ridge POV

I had a fitful night, waking to make sure that Robynne was okay. Then I woke up because I got too hot, only to find out that she had broken out in a fever, covered in sweat, like she had just gotten out of the shower. I didn't know if I should be holding her, making her hotter with my body heat, or move away. When I tried to let her go and started to move away, she groaned and tried to keep body contact, wiggling her bottom to me, to keep me close.

So I spooned her, getting overheated again, but thought a night of being uncomfortable was a small price to pay if it kept her alive. Wondering if my wolf's healing was helping.
