There are good surprises in the world.

Emmi Parker’s Point of View

“You have some intense morning sickness.” 

I groaned, chuckling at Talia as she looked at the chart. Having one is normal, and with the body that is not trained to hold an alpha child, it was more painful for me than normal. Naturally, I needed to train for this but there was no way that my mate would be allowing me to train during these circumstances. 

“Tell me about it.” I grumbled, sighing softly.

Everyone was working around the instrument needed as we waited for Kaiden. Now that I am six week into this pregnancy, I can finally hear the child’s heartbeat. Kaiden had pushed a lot of his schedules to come with me but he had some emergency meeting earlier, and would be arriving in less than five
