“What about me?” I shout a second time as Tyler walks out of the room. “Tyler,” I yell and try to get out of bed.

Sheila rushes towards me and presses her hand on my chest, “You have to stay, honey.”

“But why are the alpha and the twins talking about me,” I say and look at the door. A sharp pain cuts through me, and I hiss. “f**k,” I scowl. “I hate being so god damned weak!” I had just woken up and been told I was injured in the fight with the rogues.

Sheila, does her best to calm me, “Weak? From what I heard, you were anything but weak. Even the best warriors get hurt sometimes,” She says while lifting her dress and showing me a deep scar across her belly.

I stare at the scar, “Ouch.” I fold my arms, “I want to know what they are saying. Shouldn’t I be involved?”
