I was shocked speechless upon hearing his words. I didn't recall getting on his good side or him owing me a favor.
But now that I thought about it, this Ezekiel was really nice to me. Although he really had this worst personality and sharp tongue, he hadn't hurt me too much or let me suffer.
Still, I couldn't help but doubt his words as I asked, "Why?"
"None of your concern. You just need to know that you will be of good use to me someday. So, don't misunderstand, missy." Ezekiel replied nonchalantly.
"Alexa..." I corrected. I didn't know where was I getting my courage whenever I talked with this wicked man. Other people might probably shiver in fear even when they were just in his presence but as for me, I didn't feel the same way. I even felt like it was good with him
