Cassie's Fear

When Cassie came to, she was relieved to find herself lying in her bed in her room, Liam sitting on the floor playing and Cody was sitting in the doorway watching her and looking a bit guilty. At least he was wearing clothes she thought sitting up and frowning at the pain in her head. Her eyes widened as she remembered what had happened but it had to have been a dream. Looking at Cody he looked just like any other human being. Maybe with the shock of the wolf attacking she had become delusional and hallucinated? But part of her instinctively knew she hadn't and her whole body began to tremble.

Cody shot to his feet but stayed well back as she glanced at him tentatively, one hand going to the back of her head as she felt what seemed to be a large bump there. She winced.
