From a short distance away, Henry approached with evident excitement. "Trent, when did you get here? You didn't even let me know!"

Adelyn, puzzled, observed the exchange between the two men. Henry quickly filled in the gap, "Four years ago, my car brakes failed and I ended up in the river. Trent was the hero who fished me out."

Adelyn's eyes widened with a blend of astonishment and appreciation as she realized Trent had also been her father's savior.

Henry, a grin still plastered across his face, continued, "Trent, you mentioned you were busy, so I didn't send you an invitation. Or did I just forget?"
