              After everyone relaxed, all of us ranked people came down into the dining room and waited for dinner. I was so excited to have Mrs. Johnson’s cooking again. Mojave Mountain pack had good food, don’t get me wrong, but nothing beat Mrs. Johnson’s cooking. The dinner menu was simple but delicious- baked salmon steaks with rosemary, thyme, and her special blend of seasonings, roasted veggies, and some cilantro lime rice.

              “I honestly have never had salmon,” the dining room fell silent and we all just looked at her.
