She laughed and smiled as she served our meals. At no time did she look like she was being punished. She ignored the sympathetic looks from her family and just held her head high like the Luna she is. I watched Temperance serving dinner on the third day since I declared Bridget my mate. Temperance served the meal while smiling and laughing with her omega cohorts. She even looked at me with the joy I had longed to see in her. She said nothing to me as she set my burger down. My d**k became instantly hard as her scent engulfed me, and I could not concentrate on what my mother was saying to me about Bridget's luna ceremony. I gripped the edge of the chair I was sitting in and nearly broke it.
