First Night

Amara yawned. She was incredibly tired having watched Damien work all day while she hung around, staring at the scenery and even stealing his phone on occasion to play games on. She had tried to get up and excuse herself but he'd insisted she stay with him and without even thinking about it she had complied, lying on the couch in the room and keeping herself as entertained as possible. They'd had dinner brought into them and eaten but judging by the night sky, Amara could tell it was getting really late as Damien gave her a concerned look.

"You look done in" he said gruffly "it's time we headed to bed."
