“WHAT?!” I roar at Charlie. He is one of my best warriors, and I thought he was a good choice to keep an eye on Isaak. I hear a yelp and see Nova cowering. Her green eyes are wide with fear, and it breaks my heart. “Honey,” I reach for her, and she backs away. “Nova, I am not angry with you.”
