It was the end of the day and I was at my locker grabbing what books I needed to take home so I could do homework. Nina was next to me doing the same thing.

All day, it’s been bothering me with the conversation I had with Shawn last night. I want to ask Nina a question, but I don’t know how.

“Ugh, I forgot tomorrow is that stupid pep rally. Guess I have to wear green tomorrow.” Nina groaned as she was zipping up her back pack.

That actually is the perfect que for me to ask Nina for help.

“I don’t have anything green to wear.” I said quietly.

“Since when? You have green shirts, you wore them, I saw you in them…come on you stupid zipper.” Nina said as she struggled with the zipper on her backpack. It got stuck halfway on her.

“Um… maybe I don’t have a nice green shirt?” I mumbled
