"And for the second, he is my brother so why won't I have access to a place that is not even his mansion?" he said. Although it came out neutral, to me, it was like cold water reminding me that I'm nothing more than a nightstand to Adonis. Sensing my mood he chuckled. "You sure are courageous. Do you expect to be loved by Adonis? You already know the answer even before I ask you, so why keep on clinging to what will never be yours?" He paused, as he removed his shoes, wearing only his suit pants as he sat on a chair next to a desk opposite the bed.
