After dinner, we went down to the shop. We had another meeting about the beast tonight. This one would include members of my sleuth. I wanted someone watching out for my mate at all times. She was my Ursa and important to all of us.

Clover went behind the counter and started making drinks for everyone as they showed up. I stood outside, in front of the door, to make sure the only people who got in were those involved in the meeting. Most humans who approached turned away quickly when I glared at them.
