After dinner, a few bears came up to the table to meet Clover. She was polite and civil to them. There was none of the aggressive air she’d had earlier.

One of the couples there brought their cub over. She was a shy little girl who hid behind her mother. Typical in most cubs. They tended to cling to their mothers.

Clover was nice to the parents and tried not to interact with the cub too much. That was good. Bear mothers tended to be fairly overprotective.

“Have you had the chance to think of a name for our sleuth yet?” The male asked.

She looked a little stunned. I hadn’t told her yet that the Ursa names the sleuth. I hoped that wouldn’t come back on me. She didn’t seem angry.

“Artio’s Blessing.” Clover responded.

My eyes went wide. “Are you sure?”

“Yes. I’ve spoken with her
