“So, Val, what’s your dominant affinity?” Misty asked.

“Mom. Clover has a dominant affinity because of when she was born. Val’s not like that. All of his affinities are equal.” Jen reminded her.

“Oh, I forgot. I always forget the days that are important to fire witches.” She chuckled. “So you’re all some sort of plant witch? Jen was telling us the other day that you girls have plant magic.”

“Yes. We train with the fae back home. My ability is rare, even among fae, and Echo’s is pretty common. She can talk to plants, though, and I can’t.” Harmony said.
