Both had stilled with the open of the door.

    Leighton stood in the door guarded as he looked at his mate, his heart felt like it had stopped to the scene that he had unfolded. Mint was in her room, as he had initially guess. Yet instead of sleeping or having some extra time to have some of her time in the evening, she was doing something else. She was looking at him with such dead eyes, something that indicates that she was not okay as her hands were close to impaling her wrist with the scissors. 

    The second he had come to realize the situation, he felt like everything had knocked him down. Moving quickly, he had dashed to her direction and grabbed the thing out of her hands. She frown
