Chapter 55:

The only thing that makes him breathless.

Roseanne kept looking around, almost jumping from her feet.

It was the first time that she had been heading out and about with Severin. And to her surprise, there was not a sense of worry or anxiousness to keep herself presentable. Unlike before, when she always felt like she needed to be prim and proper when facing him—she felt like she could always take a breather when she was with Severin.

“Oh!” She exclaimed, pointing at the skewers that were being sold on the street. “Duke—”

“Severin.” He corrected her words, slowly tilting his head to the side to remind her that they were wearing clothes that should help them blend well with people. Severin doubted that it would help though, as his wife still looked like a real nobility
