Spencer drove, his mind elsewhere. He knew he was frightening Kinley by not divulging where they were going, but he couldn't get his mind off of the human male touching his mate and trying to hurt her. It was constantly going through his mind and in the end he stopped just outside of a motel as Kinley stared at him wide-eyed.
