Jacob entered the room dressed in a light blue polo shirt and grey sweatpants.

“Those were very casual clothes so maybe he went to get something?“ The thought ran through my head as I tried to find a good reason as to why he would have left the room after we just finished having s*x.

He had his phone in his hand and his lips pulled into a thin line. Those blue-green orbs focused on the screen of his phone like it was more important than what just happened between us.

He was right there. Jacob was in front of me and I didn't know how to act or what to say exactly.

Tilting my head to the side, I tried to read his mood. It was a difficult task. Jacob looked as blank as an empty canvas and I didn't know what to think of it.
