A week and two days.

It had been a week and two days since I told Jacob about Patrick and we had a small argument. Things had been different ever since then. We talked even less and spent less time with each other. There were times when I tried to make things go back to normal but it never went as planned. It was a failure of a honeymoon.

There were times when Jacob would tend to my needs because of my injuries but with time that stopped as well. I healed fast and soon enough I was able to do all that I needed to do myself. It was liberating if I had to be honest.

I missed the feeling of doing things myself. It also helped that I could now take a bath without worrying about the stinging pain I would get once my wounds came in contact with water.
