    “So, Adrian is in there?” Ari stared at the blaring green stone as she spoke over her shoulder at Audrey and Link who were at a counter on the far side of his room. Sitting beside him on the bed, she had not left his side since he had… died, watching his face drain of its color, of its expression. This was a different sort of stillness than that of simply sleeping, a stillness that chilled her skin with its truth.
