Roxy POV

Sitting in the waiting room, I thought of Grandma's worried face as she had a bowl of hot, soapy water and was washing the blood from my chest and arms with gentleness, searching my body to make sure I was not hurt. I guess with that much blood, she thought I had been hurt. The relief and love in her eyes when she found no wounds almost had me crying again.

Grandma insisted I come with her and see the doctor for shock. I was flipping through a magazine Grandma handed me when she was called in. I heard part of a conversation with myself, looking around to see who was in the waiting room.

Katie, Stacy's friend, chatted with Lidia, a school teacher's daughter. I only heard parts of the conversation.

'I heard Stacy is pregnant.'
