Joel seemed to shrink into his skin as he turned to Alexander. His wolf's ears flattening in submission despite his human form. His brows furrowed in confusion, "Dude, I thought we were best friends? I thought you'd always have my back," he said with disbelief.

Alexander's golden eyes glowed faintly, his Alpha aura pressing down even as he kept his tone casual,"We are best friends, and I would always have your back,"then he shrugged and tucked his hands into his pockets. "But she’s my Luna, and trust me, I’m not supporting anyone."

"So you're just going to stand there and let your Luna bully us like that?" Joel murmured, his wolf whining in his mind.
