Trying with all her might to free herself, Kyoko blinked at the sudden change of scenery, becoming aware of two strong arms as they snaked around her, holding her firmly against a warm body. She looked down at the angry demon that she had just been freed from in complete confusion. It was getting further and further away.

Did Hyakuhei have her again? Were they going back to the hidden cave? Tilting her head upward to see who held her, Kyoko gasped. "Kyou." His eyes were bold and angry for a fleeting second as he glared down at the beast below them. He’d saved her… just like in the dream.
