Out of nervous habit, her fingers traveled up to her neck to touch the necklace. Her lips parted as she came up empty handed. She had lost her mind, and obviously the talisman too. ‘Oh no,’ she thought frantically. ‘Toya’s going to have kittens. Where is it?’ She rose up in the water and spun around to search through her clothing thinking it may have come off when she removed her blouse. Tears of frustration and fear gathered in her eyes and fell down her cheeks while she searched. “This isn’t happening.” She exclaimed quietly, her voice bordering on panic. She turned her small bag upside down and sifted through the items that fell out before sticking her hand in the bag to make sure it hadn’t gotten stuck.
