Lacey was surprised to have Dante invite her out for a coffee and lunch on the weekend. She'd ummed and ahhed before accepting, blushing as Dante gave her the biggest grin. Over the last few days they had developed a camaraderie, friends who had instantly connected with each other and completely comfortable in each other's company. For Lacey it was relatively new to have a friend to lean on, share conversation and generally just be herself. Her last friend was still a haunting memory that she had to shake off, tears coming to her eyes on occasion whenever she was especially lonely.

"What do you think?" Dante said with a flourish opening the doors to the café while Lacey giggled. 

"Such a gentleman" she teased as he gave her a wink and wiggled his eyebrows at her.
