The way he moved, there was no denying how angry Alpha Kobe was. I moved though, putting myself directly into his path, protecting the girl, my mate at all costs. He would not get too close to her without provoking me into doing something that would teach him how I felt about that. I stood protectively in front of her, refusing to be cowed and looking down my nose at Alpha Kobe who seemed flabbergasted that I had the audacity to get in his way. He wasn’t getting his hands on Hope. I knew she was the girl I had been looking for and now that I had found her, there was no way I was leaving without her. My dreams had been real and that was enough to make me feel as though the moon goddess herself had sent me on a path to save this girl from this asshole.

“Alpha Liam,” his tone is loud as he s
