My Friends said as they pulled me to the dance floor. The music was on point and we were having the time of our lives...that is until i caught his scent. I told my friends i was just going to the bathroom as i followed my nose off the dance floor and towards the passageway that lead to the bathrooms at the back of the club. I followed the scent of Dark Chocolate and Cherry ... it was alluring and intimate... the smell of my Mate. I got closer and the smell got stronger until i saw it... at the end of the hallway...in the shadows. My Mate and his...? ... Wait ... No... The most Handsome man iv ever seen...with a girl...making out...and she had a his mark on her shoulder? ... and his scent mixed with hers...?? I was furious...heartbroken...and all i could do was watch. The one thing i wished for my whole life...that i waited for...that i... just lost... Time was frozen. It took a few minutes before he pulled away from her and looked at me. The look in his eyes...confusion...lust...anger...pain? I turned around to walk back into the bathroom... It was empty thank God. I stared into the mirror at my reflection and was counting my breaths. I was hurt but anger was the most dominant feeling as my eyes turned red. I punched the mirror shattering my reflection as the glass cracked. Blood flowing down my knuckles from the cuts that formed on impact. But the small stinging pain was nothing...nothing compared to my heartache. I let out a low growl and then a breath...as i decided then and there...that this was not over. I composed myself and cleaned my hand. fixed up my hair...and touched up my makeup. I headed back out...i didn't even look to see if they were still there...i could smell him to know he was ... they were... and i made my way back to my friends. As soon as i got to them they smelt the blood on my hand...although it was minimal they knew i was angry and asked me what happened. I hugged them each and told them that my Mate decided to finally show up...but he is with someone else...they both hugged me with sadness on their faces and then looked at each other then back to me... ''So what are we going to to get him back...?'' Kayleigh said to me ''What do you guys suggest...?'' i asked them both as we were all thinking of options. ''Show us who he is and his hoe and then we can put our plan into action'' Tinity said with full excitement for the challenge that just sparked in her mind. I looked around and smelled the air... i caught his scent ... We walked off the dance floor towards the couches near the bar. ''That's him...and that's .... her'' i told them with a lift of my head as to try keep my distance but also not draw attention. ''OMG...seriously...I know him Ave...'' Trinity says shocked ''What..?? Who is he..'' I said to her as i pulled my friends down the stairs to the side even further away. ''His name is Sebastian and hes the Alpha of my brothers pack. I met when i went to visit my brother two months ago and ... well... this is going to be a challenge...but nothing we cant handle'' .... she said looking at me Gleefully with a slightly evil smirk. ''Agreed...tonight is about us and tomorrow we take over the world...i laugh all evil like for emphasis'' ... We walk over to the bar and order some drinks...not where he is but in clear view... i Choose to Not make eye contact and ignore him for the night...HE Will NOT ruin my life and especially my night. Drinks in tow we head back to the dance floor and dance the night away... Hips swaying... smiles plastered...arms in the air and laughs of pure happiness between me and my girls. As it gets late we decide to head home for much needed rest after having the time of our lives. Just as we are walking off the dance floor Trinity runs to the side as she spots her brother. ''Damian OMG ...'' She hugs him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. We walk over to say hi...we know him too but haven't seen him in about a year because he met his Mate in another pack and left to be with her as Beta of their pack. ''Happy Birthday Ave...its nice to see you two trouble makers again...'' Damian says to Kayleigh and myself as we all hug eachother and smile at seeing eachother in so long. ''what happened to your hand?'' ... he asks lifting my hand and inspecting the small cuts that are healing but are still very visible. He giggles back knowing i am very clumsy and i probably did something silly. ''Well we should go but we will chat soon Bro...i love you...'' Trinity says as we all wave good bye and take our leave We all drive back to Trinity's house for a sleep over...we didn't talk much as we were all so tired but we were all very happy and enjoyed our time together.
