Prologue
Twelve years ago. 'Ahhh' I screamed as the nurses wheeled me into the ER 'You'll be alright darling' my mum said while my dad held my hand. I tossed my head left to right in pain. We arrived at the ER. The nurses set a drip and before I knew it I was asleep. Next thing I knew, I woke up screaming. That was the moment it all began. The Unknown Eternity - The Nightmare. I was 8 when it started. I was extremely sick that day but that was the last day I ever fell sick. Really sick. My twin, Nick, and I have always been close and when The Unknown Eternity began, we got even closer. We slept in the same room till after University. My dad is a billionaire. He owns companies around the world. My dad and mum love each other to the ends of the world and to the moon and back. They both love Nick and I. Because my dad is a business man and my mum helps him out, he expects Nick and I to following their footsteps. In a few days, I'll be moving out of the house to my new apartment. It's gonna be the first time I'll be alone cause I'm always at home and Nick is always with me at night when The Unknown Eternity happens. Nick and I graduated a few months ago from Oxford and now Nick is running a few of my dad's companies. So he's always in and out of the country. My dad respects my decision of moving out and not assisting Nick with running his companies. He knows how important my art is to me and he understands my need to go out into the world; Alone. Only my family and my therapist knows about The Unknown Eternity and that it happens 'every' night. But they don't know about it in details or about what I go through when I experience it. I never wanted to disclose it to anyone because I'd hate myself if they pitied me. And I hate Pity.
