ACE'S POV This man has seriously had the guts to do all these shitty things. He deserves it, good that this girl showed him his rightful place she must be someone who is brave enough to stand for herself in front of these kinds of people which somewhere created interest in me to know about her. It's like I have a fantasy for girls like them just like Livi. I just wonder why dad's people hire such shitty employees with a shady character. Dad called me to meet him today which he never does. Does God know what does he want now? He always comes with these weird ideas of setting me up on blind dates. The things which typical mother does has to be done by my dad which is just so annoying. Why these fake cares and concerns all of a sudden? Earlier he did not even care if I was alive or dead then why now? Whatever it is, I don't care anymore. I may sound like an emotional fool who talks like a teenage girl but that's what the truth is. Sighing I knocked on the door and went inside to see my dad sitting along with his lawyer. If he wanted to meet me why would he call his lawyer? I thought but I went inside and sat across my dad. "Good Morning Son, how have you been?" My Dad asked which annoyed me so cutting the chase I directly asked him " Why did you call me so suddenly? What is so important that you can't even wait for sometime? I couldn't help but get annoyed by this old man's behaviour. I heard him heave a heavy sigh and I knew that there's gonna be a big drama today, he just can't let me live in peace. This old man loves to rattle my nerves, I could not help but wonder which bomb he is going to drop on me this time. I was lost in my thoughts when I heard him speak " Well you may not like to hear it son, but it is important... " He said and left his sentence in the middle. "So, What is it that you are trying to say?" I asked him not wanting to drag this matter for long. " As you know that you are going to turn 25 in a month's time so I wanted to hand over the company and everything related to me, to you now.." I heard him say and to be honest, I was surprised that this man is ready to hand over the company to my name. I mean what in the world happened that made him change his mind. " Why all of a sudden? Till yesterday you were hell-bent on kicking me out of your property and your life if I don't break up with Livia and get my actions straight so what happened that made you change your mind so suddenly?" I asked him and he straightened his posture adjusting himself his lawyer handed him a file which he placed in front of me. I looked at the folder and back at him. " This is my Will and you have to sign it so that everything will be transferred to your name." " Okay I will sign it then," I said and opened the file to read the papers. He sat back looking at him but I could see he was trying to say something but he was hesitating which made me curious. So before he could say something I asked him. " Tell me what is it? What do you want to say? " It took him by surprise when I asked him but Clearing his throat he said again. " There is one condition in this will to which you have to comply too" " and what is this condition?" " The condition is that you have to marry a potential girl before your next birthday and it has to be someone appropriate. Also, that girlfriend of yours doesn't come under potential girl. " " I will marry Livia only if ever I decide to get married to anyone and no one else. Do you understand that?" I could not help but lash out at this old man in front of me. he looked at me and smirked which annoyed me to no extent. "Well you can try if you want and I am sure that girl will come up with some excuses of not marrying you at the moment and I know she will but remember this if you try to marry that Livia then the property will automatically be transferred to a trust fund. I am sorry son, you have to marry someone who is better for you, who will not use you for your money that all I want." He finished leaving me burning with rage. I left the place not knowing what to say but I will figure this out and I will get what I deserve and I will marry who I want to no one else. I left his cabin and made my way out of the company when my phone rang. I looked at the caller and It was Livia, just when I needed her she called me. I picked up the call "Hey, baby!" I heard her say which made me smile. "I wanna meet you soon I have something to tell you. let's meet in the evening, okay?" I heard her speak again. " Even I have something to tell you and it's really important. " I told her and hang up the call. Maybe I can propose her tonight, I know she will be surprised but we have already stayed three years in a relationship and I don't think it will be a problem. I have to get a ring and I have to plan a proper proposal for her. I called Kevin, my friend hoping that he will have a nice ring and hoping he could help me with the proposal. I sat in my car and drove off to Kevin's home hoping that everything will be fine today and I will defeat my old man. To be continued......
