Fall to Winter

   Things may be a little confusing at first if you are not already following the world of omegaverse. I wish to make this clear first; this does not involve wolves or shape-shifters. This is a world where every human being has their own sub-gender aside from their birth s*x (male or female). This story may also include M-preg. I also clarify that this is a Male x Male. I'll make a list below of key words that may also help better understand if you are unfamiliar. ****     Secondary gender/Sub-gender: To put it simply there are two types of genders. The physical one demonstrated at birth, such as male and female. The second one (Alpha/Beta/Omega) doesn't present until a little after puberty starts. Around fifteen to seventeen is the average but it can present later or earlier than that depends on the person. Around the beginning of middle school children are tested to find out what they are in order for them to be prepared for whatever transition may happen.     Alpha: Alpha's are the people higher up in the world. They are either male or female and they do not take up much of the worlds population. Alpha's are highly respected and praised because of their enhanced intellectual and physical capabilities. They are the most dominant sub-gender but dominance in itself also depends on the individual person.     Beta: Beta's are the most common sub-gender that takes up majority of the worlds population. They are usually unaffected by the pheromones of either the Alphas or Omegas but it is not impossible for them to be influenced if it is strong enough. They don't particularly stand out but they are basically like the average people of our world.      Omega: Omegas are the people basically at the bottom of the barrel. Often mistreated by the two genders that are higher up. They are the most fertile of the three secondary genders. Many people dislike Omegas because of something known as their heat. Omegas are far more rare than Alphas. Usually female but it is not impossible for there to males.     Heat: The heat is something only experienced by Omegas of childbearing age. It is an intense state where they are no longer in their right mind. Their fertility rate is at its highest and a special pheromone is released to attract Alphas for mating. It is also the only time where marking/bonding is possible. It typically lasts 3-7 days and the time between each heat is anywhere from a month or several months. Depending on the individual.     Rut: Only experienced by Alphas. Are similar to the Omegas heat but instead of making them weak as it does to an Omega, it makes them stronger. The rut also induces excessive aggression and agitation behaviour. It is nearly impossible to resist the lust. If an unmated Omega is in proximity of the Alpha then they are sent into a heat-like state. Duration is similar to the heat but also depend on the individual. Alphas are super potent in this state. Alphas are usually male but it isn't impossible for them to be female.     Pheromone: Pheromones are a scent secreted by both Alphas and Omegas. Alphas typically have a more musky, dominant scent while Omegas usually smell sweet and alluring. They are mainly sensed by Omegas and Alphas. Omegas are not allured to other Omegas scent but that doesn't mean they cannot be in a relationship with that of the same sub-gender.  Nesting: It is not uncommon for Omegas to make a nest out of clothes, blankets or whatever other type of material they can get ahold of. Often made around the time of heat or when an Omega is expecting. If they are mated then they will usually use whatever has their Alphas scent.     Mark/Bond: Marking is only between the Alpha and Omega. It is a lifelong commitment that cannot be undone until one of the mates dies. To create a bond, an Omega must be in heat and the Alpha of the pair bites the nape of the Omegas neck or over their scent glands which is located on both sides of the neck. It does not have to be consensual. If an Alpha attacks an Omega in heat then they are bonded no matter what the two want afterwards. If a person is mated then the only person capable of smelling their heatut is their pair.      Fated pair: A fated pair can only consist of an Alpha and an Omega born to be together as a pair. It is nearly impossible for people to actually find their pair so it is believed to be nothing more than a myth. If they meet their fated pair the two will instantly trigger into their heatut. Knott: It is an Alphas attribute that occurs in their p***s when they are nearing their climax. It is a bulge that forms near the tip to prevent the male to pull out. Of course it can be controlled for the most part. It is not common for the knott to form if the male is simply m**********g.      Slick: It is a natural lubricant made from the Omega. The most common time for there to be slick is when they Omega is in heat but even if they aren't in heat it is possible, just not in as great of a quantity.     Suppressants: Suppressants are made for Omegas to prevent the heat from bursting through. They are not always effective but they also have huge drawbacks. There are no suppressants made to accommodate Alphas ruts.
