4 Friends, An Island And Dark Secrets

I was packing my bag when the phone rang. It was Ella FaceTiming me. "ROSEEEE ARE YOU READYYYY THIS IS GOING TO BE LIT!" Ella was one of my long distance friends, along with Adrien and Evan. We have been friends forever but we never actually met in person..and now we are! Evan planned the entire thing we're staying for an entire month on some island all together! I was so excited to meet them all and finally get to spend time together in person. I didn't know at all where we were going tho. The plan was to all meet up at my place and then all leave together. Ella was arriving tomorrow and Evan would arrive one day later since he had to come from Australia . And Adrien ...he lives in the Us too and was actually arriving this evening hence why I was so nervous. Adrien is my secret crush although we've never met in person I've had strong feelings for him since the very beginning. Everything fits perfectly, we are into the same music have other common interests and he lives in the US just like me. Although...I'm pretty sure he doesn't feel the same way. It doesn't matter we're still friends and that's what counts I guess. Although...I still like him. I got messages from Ella and Evan. Ella saying she would arrive in the morning tomorrow and Evan the morning after. I was so nervous since Adrien could arrive any minute. I sat down and took my phone playing a stupid game not being able to concentrate tho. Suddenly the door bell rang...Adrien! I stormed downstairs passing my confused dad and opened the door. "Hey Rose" ugh it was just Alex. My neighbor and...ex. "What do you want Alex" I replied being very cold. He grinned and put his arm on the door before I could close the door "I'm uh baking cookies and I need sugar could you help me out?" I wanted to close the door and go puke but my dad walked in "hi Alex" he said "Hello sir" Dad liked Alex and when I broke up with him well My dad was disappointed saying Alex was such a great guy. Ugh I went to get the sugar and gave it to him. "There you go bye" I said but dad smiled and Alex "why don't you come inside for a bit?" Seriously dad?! I was so freaking mad! Alex of course smirked and came inside. I crossed my arms glaring at him. We all sat down in the living room to "talk" "hey Rose be nice and get Alex something to drink" my dad said. "Whatever" I replied very triggered and went to get sir Alex a glass of water. "Here" he took the glass and smiled "thank you Rose" he replied being so polite because my dad was around. My dad and Alex started talking and I was just sitting there bored and mad. Suddenly, the door bell rang again, all pissed I went to open the door, and In front of me was standing a gorgeous guy with dirty blond hair and beautiful blue eyes. I instantly started blushing "we finally meet" The guy said, smiling...he had a smile..every girl would melt for it! "Adrien.." I said all nervously. "Come In" Adrien came in and saw My dad and Alex, who of course glared at me seeing me with Adrien. My dad got out of the couch to greet Adrien. "Oh and you must be Adrien" Adrien smiles shyly "nice to meet you sir" oh my god I already had a hard time breathing. My crush was standing next to me! I could touch him! "We'll be in my room!" I said taking Adrien upstairs but my dad stopped me "Rose you have another guest over" I was so mad.."I didn't invite him!" I yelled but my dad crossed his arms. "I don't care and talk on another tone young lady or you can forget about that trip of yours." Ugh I rolled my eyes and told Alex to follow us. We all went inside my room and I sat down on my bed. Alex stood against the wall trying to be 'cool' "sooo you guys are..a thing?" Adrien asked. Alex smirked but before he could say anything I said "no!" Adrien blinked visibly confused. "No we were a thing" I said. I could see Alex did not like that but I didn't give a thing. "And how did you two met?" I rolled my eyes at Alex's question but Adrien seemed chill "online we've been friends since years but it's the first time we meet in person" "yeah" I said. Although of course I wish we weren't just friends.. but that's not something I could tell Adrien. I think I'm stuck in the friend zone forever. "So how long are you staying Adrien?" Alex asked. Don't say it don't say it don't say ittt. "Oh Rose didn't tell you? We're going on a vacation with 2 other friends" ughhhhh no he said it! Alex grinned "nope she forgot to tell me.." Alright well it's late, Alex why don't you go home now" I said before this could get any more awkward. Alex sighed but went downstairs I could hear him say something to my dad and then he left. "I'm sorry about that" I mumbled. Adrien smiled "it's fine" "so uh where do I sleep?" I argued a long time with my dad to let him sleep on a extra mattress in my room but he refused and said Adrien had to sleep downstairs on the couch. "Downstairs" he gave a nod. "Alright" "wanna play a game? I'll go change" I said and left for the bathroom where I had already my beautiful two piece , kind of sexy pajama ready. I put it on, I styled my hair into a messy but very well done bun and put on some lipstick and mascara hoping to look good. I came back and for a second, thought Adrien was blushing but it must've been my imagination. I sat down and took out the board game. Adrien smiled and we played till late in the night. Then he had to go downstairs to sleep. I laid down and sighted. Mission flirting failed I thought by myself. Yup stuck in the friend zone forever.
