My nerd

My life was going so smoothly, well not that smooth I agree, I mean the worst thing in my life was just bullies but I was able to manage it. You know being a nerd comes with responsibilities. I had to keep my grades up and even attain more. I was also able to manage. But then she came. Megan, one of the baddest girl in school, sorry let me explain better 'The most baddest girl in school'. Never comes to class early, everybody was so afraid of her even the teachers. Now this I was not able to manage. I had bumped into her while hurrying to class. Damn I knew I should have taken the bus but I wanted to avoid the torture and decided to walk. Now am late for my first class which was maths, that teacher never takes it lightly with late comers. I must have been lost in thought of the punishment I would receive when I cornered the hall and bumped into Megan, she wasn't with her friends. Weird. Her friends always follows her around. "What the hell?" Megan yelled at me. I don't know if it's because of her bumping into me or she yelling at me that made me fall but I certainly fell on my butt and my books scattered on the ground. "I...I.....am sorry" I said stammering. I started picking my books and surprisingly she bent to help as well. Today is getting so weird. Megan never helps anyone. As soon as she was done, we both stood up and she stared at me. I was already feeling uncomfortable and my hands were all sweaty. What if she decides to punish me. Oh God am so dead. Then I remembered. Maths class. Oh no double punishment. I need to leave immediately. "Am sorry" I said again and left there immediately. She can punish me later but I don't want to get punished by the maths teacher too. It's so surprising how my life changed After that first meeting. ..........my nerd...?............,..................?. What this? Another book by Precious Martins... Well... it is what it is.
