The Alpha Princess

I was merely ten years old when my parents were murdered, i remember it like it was yesterday. i was out in the garden when my mother came out screaming for me to hide; we were always prepared for this, always on the run always making sure where we went we would have a way to hide if danger comes, when we first arrived to New Castle Delaware we bought a small cottage on the outside of the city. my parents made sure they had a way to hide, all of us, two of us or even me alone. thou i always knew deep down that when whatever we were hiding from came, what ever danger preying on us lurking in the darkness waiting for the right moment, i always knew when that moment came, i would be the only one to survive. I remember hiding exactly as my mom told me to, i remember the man dragging my father out by his arm while the other men shoved my mother out until the were both side by side on the floor. "please don't ! please don't kill us" it was my parents plea for their lives. i remember the man slapping my mother so hard she bled my father took her in his arms to comfort her. the man with his icy blue eyes never once took pity on them, he simply looked at them in disgust as if he loathed them with all his heart. "the king has requested me to take his grand daughter back to the castle and for you both to be killed for treason" said the man and with that been said, he took his gun out and shot both my parents as if to make sure they wouldn't get up he continued to shoot until the gun was completely out of bullets. I could not do anything, I hid as my parents were mutilated, I hid while they searched for me, I hid after they left, i hid for days until reality hit me, i was alone, i had no parents, no family, no one to turn to and no where to hid, so I ran, I ran as fast as i could and as far as i could until i finally collapsed. the only thing i remember or that day was my parents death and the face of the man who killed them and i Swore to never forget for his life would be mine.
