Shadows Of Grief

13 June, Thursday 2:32pm It was an another pleasant day here at New York. A typical summer day with sun right at the top and chirruping of birds made it perfect. With Harry playing on his Playstation and Erika at her friend's house I could enjoy decorating my kitchen. Doorbell Buzzed! ''Harry can you please open it?'' ''Sure Honey!'' Harry said. I could tell from the voices that it was Erika returning from her friend's house. ''No Dad! I just want to watch TV.'' Erika said. I could sense her voice little angry and unpleasant. It probably because Harry may had asked her for a Playstation match which she regularly denied. I walked over the hallway and saw Harry little disappointed. ''Don't worry harry maybe one day she will show some interest in your football match.'' ''Yeah sure!'' He said. ''Ok It's time for lunch what are we having Amy?" Harry said in excitement. ''Oh.. its Erika's favourite Baloney sandwich.'' I replied shifting my gaze towards Erika. ''Oh! Thank You Mommy.'' Erika said with some excitement and happiness. After Lunch we all sat in hallway with little chitchat going on. Its always fun when Harry took a day off. Little family talk was broken when Harry's phone rang. ''Who is it Harry? I asked. ''It's from our Bank.'' Harry replied. He picked his phone and said ''Hello?'' Immediately I saw his expression turning leaving all happiness and his face turned pale. I felt a rush of fear in my spine when Harry dropped his phone looking all tensed up and scared. ''What happened Harry?'' I said twice. '' Oh! c'mon Harry for God's sake speak.'' The world freezed for a second and I was out of my breath for a moment when Harry said... ''Our Bank got robbed!!''
