An echoing sound of an angelic voice humming the tune of scarborough fair and a running footstep can only be heard inside the abandoned building in that afternoon. Sanya was panting, her heart is beating real fast, she can feel adrenaline rushing through her veins as she is running for her life, finding way out to scape while holding her wounded stomach. She saw it, she saw how her friends killed brutally by Elena. She can still see how her friends head barely separate from their body, the squirting sound of their blood coming out from their necks. She can hear Elena’s footsteps and hum, and it is getting near. She decide to take the path of the first hallway she saw. She cried when she saw that it is dead end. Her heart stops from beating when she heard a footsteps stop behind her. Slowly, she face the owner of the footsteps, she trembled in extreme fear when she saw Elena mischievous smile and cold eyes, gone the timid and nice Elena they’ve always know. Her face and uniform is stained with blood. She is holding a sharped tipped pole, there’s a blood dripping from the tip of it. ”P-please! Don’t kill me please!” Getting on her knees, Sanya tried to plead, she don’t want to die. She saw Elena’s smirk grew wider as if she saw something entertaining but her eyes stay cold. “Hmmm. Interesting. .” Elena said in a playful tone. “Seeing you pleading is quite entertaining, but as far I remembered, you’re the one who made this kid bleed right?” Elena said pointing at her bleeding lips, while talking as if, she is talking about a different person. “P-p-please.” Sanya whispered weakly and desprately, she can her losing lots of blood “Uh..uh..uh.. You messed with this kid, you must pay and I want your life as a payment.” Elena said in a sing song tune. In a snap a choking sound can only be hear in that dead end hallway. When Elena pierce the pole on Sanya’s throat making her blood squirt out from her neck, while Elena is enjoying watching it with her cold eyes and mischievous smirk. Sanya died with her eyes opened. “Nasty.” Elena said in disgust but her eyes are in glee. When Elena is satisfied from the sight of Sanya’s dead body, she started to step leaving the body behind. Elena halt from walking when she felt a piercing pain on her head. Elena grab her head and screamed in so much pain. ”D-Don’t! Don’t come out! Don’t come out! Not now!” Elena mumble while holding her head, the piercing pain is unbearable, it is making her sight blur, until she can see the darkness slowly enveloping her. Elena woke up feeling dizzy, her eyes were gentle now, and the cold eyes a while ago is gone. Slowly, she tried to get up which she succeed, she began to scan the place only to find a dead body bathing in blood, not far from where she is standing. She began to approach the dead body, her body filled in horror when she saw the face of the dead body, its her classmate Sanya. Elena began to take a few steps backward and then started to scream while running out of the building. When she got out of the building, her legs collapse, she doesn’t care what she look like. Her eyes were pooled in tears while she keep on murmuring convincing herself that what she saw is not real, and that she just is having nightmare like she often had. Elena clasped her chest when she suddenly felt pain in it, she can feel her breath is shortening and she had to breath fast to chase her breath. Her sight became blurry then everything went black. A loud bang from the door made woke Elena up, her head is throbbing, as usual she had nightmare again. And this time she dreamed of Sanya being dead, and of course she’s the one who killed Sanya like what always happening in her dreams. In her dreams, she’s the killer, her face had mischievous smile and a cold eyes which she never had in reality. She can see how herself kill people in brutality like she was just watching TV, and herself is the main character. “Elena! Elena!” someone called her from the outside banging her door. Elena got up and fix herself before opening the door. Mrs. Estrella’s warm smile greeted her when she opened the door for her. Mrs. Eleanor Estrella is a 55- years old, and an old maid. Mrs. Estrella is just living across her house, and she is one of her professor as well. “Good Morning Ma’am! Please come in!” Elena greeted politely while giving Mrs. Estrella a gentle smile. She motioned her professor to the sofa when Mrs. Estrella accepted her invitation.. “Would you like some drink Ma’am? ” she asked in a gentle manner. “ Water will do. Thank you.” Mrs. Estrella replied. “How are you Miss Mirabello?.” Mrs. Estrella suddenly ask while she’s placing the glass of water in the coffee table in front of Mr. Estrella. “You’ve been absent for 3 days that’s why I came. I got worried” Mrs. Estrella’s words made Elena halt from sitting. Her brows frowned in confusion. “M-Ma’am I’m sorry but, what do you mean?” She ask in confusion. What is Mrs. Estrella talking about? She just attended school yesterday. She even went with Sanya and her friends to the abandon building and even slapped her for lying when she lied about not having money when Sanya asked her and --- wait! That’s what was happened in her dream last night! “Have you already visit Miss Santillian’s funeral, I heard your close with her and that’s one of my reason why I came to check you up.” What Mrs. Estrella said made Elena’s mouth open she is shocked by what she just heard. Santillan is Sanya’s surname. It is added in her confusion, then suddenly she saw a vivid of her nightmare last night where she saw Sanya’s dead body suddenly appear in her memory. “Elena are you alright?” Mrs. Estrella ask worriedly, she thought that Elena is still in shock from Sanya Santillian’s death that’s why Elena’s acting like this. “Ma’am I suddenly don’t feeling good, c-can I r-rest?” Elena asked her and when she stared at Elena’s she can see mixed emotions in her eyes. Mrs. Estrella nod understandingly. She tapped Elena’s shoulder after getting up from where she seated. “ I’m just across Elena, call me if anything happen, okay?” she said giving her student a warm smile. Elena just nod giving Mrs. Estrella a tight smile. “I get going then, take care Elena.” Mrs. Estrella said and started to walk towards the door, Elena got up to escort her professor out.. When Elena closed her door after escorting Mrs. Estrella outside, she collapse. Her legs is feeling weak, her head is pooled with questions, she’s also confuse by what happened when she, Sanya and her friends went to the abandon building, and why are those happenings, in her dream? And the fact that Sanya is dead is making her mind in chaos. What is really happened back there? Is her nightmare true? She’s certain the half of it was true because they really went to that building, but how about the other one? How Sanya was killed? Why is Sanya’s death in her dream? Elena felt dizzy by thinking about it, her head still throbbing due to the sudden get up a while ago.
