The Demon King's Wife

" Ahh... What are these? They're beautiful" Ghenica said to herself where she found herself floating from the darkness where only small lights like stars are blinking in her sight. Slowly she closed her eyes when she heard commotions in her surroundings... " Noisy," Ghenica opened her eyes and stand up finding herself in the middle of a war that is about to start. On the left side are the humans and on the right are the demons. Ghenica was unlucky and woke up near the demon's tribe. " A human?! In front of demons? " a demon with horns of a ram, tanned complexion, silver long hair, and red blood eyes shouted Ghenica looked around her surroundings, trying to analyze what is happening, and find herself in a difficult situation. If she moves wrongly the demons will attack her. " Pathetic humans sending a kitten in the middle of a war in front of me? One of the greatest demon king?!" the proud King said looking at Ghenica with cold eyes Ghenica tries to calm herself and looked straightly into the eyes of the demon king " Excuse me Mr. Great Demon King I am just a passerby and I don't know why I am here. " " How dare you a human talk to me?" the Demon King asked " I am just trying to explain that I am lost so I don't want to get involved in your fight" Ghenica answered " What a brave kitten who talked back at me. I hate humans " Ghenica looked at the Demon King and it pulled out his sword. She knew what will happen next and tries to run but, the demon king who is riding the horse easily went in front of her. Ghenica closed her eyes tightly and a light shines when the Demon King swing his sword. The Demon King was pushed back and bounced off, Ghenica was protected by a metal shield that appeared in front of her for a second and disappeared again. The humans saw what happen. They saw how the Demon King bounced off and the humans take it as a signal to attack. The war started and Ghenica who is on her knees crawls on top of the humans and demons fight. Blood was spilled and splash all over the place as Ghenica tries to crawl her way out then, she heard a shout... " Look for the kitten!" The Demon King shouted and commanded " Look for the girl," says another man who is a human " Eh? ( What do you want from me? Just focus on your war idiots)" Ghenica says as she crawls faster but, a demon with a single long horn in front, pale skin, blue eyes and has black short hair appears in front of her. Nica crawls back faster away from the demon whom she bumped with but, she was caught and pull up from her collar. " Let me down," Ghenica said to him trying to break free from his hand " Stop struggling human" Ghenica kicks and slaps the demon who is walking towards the Demon King while slashing humans on his way. " Kitten," said the Demon King as they reached him. Ghenica saw the bloody demon who is smiling at her, Ghenica panicked that she might die shouted and cries, " WAAHHHH!! What do you want with me!!! Wahhhhhh!!!!! Sniff sniff leave me, alone idiots!" The Demon King was shocked and pissed off due to her noise and make Ghenica sleep through his magic. " Let's retreat, for now, Leviathan carry that thing on our way back" the Demon King ordered " But, your highness what about the proclamation of our land?" Leviathan asked as he carried Ghenica on his shoulder " We can get back what we have lost, this human will help us" The demon King replied to his subordinate . . . . . . Ghenica's POV Ahhhh... Here I am again floating in this space with these little lights in my sight. What happens? Did I die again? Wait I haven't died from the start I just transferred to that place when I saw that light on my room's floor. Now I remember, a voice calls out to me saying that she is God and gave me the power to defeat the Destructor. Ah, what a meaningful way to send me to her world. Really in the middle of a war of this human and demons? All my life I have been busy with work and never had free time and now that God gave me another work? As if I'm going to obey her... . . . . . Ghenica woke up in a strange room, it was large like a room from a noble princess in a story. " I haven't died," Ghenica thought of herself Ghenica wanders inside the room and looked at the window. She was inside a palace in the middle of the forest. " (Looking at my situation I think that the Demon King caught me alive, hmmm... Why? Is it because of what happened? Is he planning on torturing me? But I have a comfortable bed... Ah! Maybe he wants me to feel this comfy first before torturing me... I need to sneak and get away from here.)" Ghenica thought as she walks back and forth inside the room. Ghenica peeked outside her door silently and carefully looking left and right. Seeing that there are no guards or any presence she quietly went out and tries to find a way out. While Ghenica is busy finding her way out most of the demons are on the training field and preparing for the morning. " Good Morning Demon King, " a maid who is also a demon went to the Demon King's room. " What brings you here? " the Demon King asked " Count Eliseo was asking for your presence. He's been waiting for you downstairs" the maid reported " Tch! That old man. I am now busy working make excuses" " Yes, my King" the maid replied " Wait, how about the kitten?" asked the Demon King " My sister went now to her room to check if she woke up" the maid replied Rushing steps were heard and someone knocks on the door and opened it rashly. " My King! The human is missing" the maid reported while catching her breath " What?!" The Demon King furiously said " Kana goes to Leviathan and asked for the castle's lockdown and you Lana asked the other maid to look for her" The Demon King ordered Ghenica hides outside the castle near the bushes when she saw that the demons are in a panic. " Tch, ( They already know that I am missing. How can I sneak without them noticing. They are turning the whole castle upside down) I have to go over those walls" Ghenica slowly and quietly walk near the walls and hide behind a tree. " If only there's a ladder here" Ghenica mumbled and the tree she is touching changed and turned into a ladder. " What happen?" she asked herself " She places the ladder to the wall and started to climb but, some demons spotted her and announce her location. Ghenica climbed faster and when she reached the top. " No, how can I go down? I need to think..." Ghenica pulls the ladder touch it and changed it into a slide. Ghenica runs as fast as she could inside the forest. She hides behind the bushes, never move so that she was not seen by the demons who pass by. . . . . . . " Leviathan, have you find her?" the Demon King asked him " I am sorry My King but, we are still looking for the human" " Useless! You came from the demon tribe who have killed many in a split second yet finding a single kitten is taking you much time?!" The Demon King angrily shouted at Leviathan Leviathan who was down hearing the words coming from his King kneel and beg his forgiveness, " We will find her soon" KNOCK KNOCK! The sound of the soldiers came inside rushing. " My King, Sir Leviathan we found the human but she went inside the Demon King Arius territory" the soldier reported " What shall we do our King?" Leviathan asked " I will go there personally, Leviathan bring some of your most skilled demons" the King ordered . . . . . Ghenica catching her breath she went too far away from the castle and the forest. She kept on walking in the plains when a sound from above reached her ear. Ghenica looked at the sky and saw a dragon coming from above, she tries to run but, pinned down by it and a figure of man comes down from behind the dragon. " What are you doing here?" a man's voice said. Ghenica looked up to see who was talking and it was a man with horns of the dragon, blue silky hair, silver eyes, and tanned skin. " Answer human" the demon commanded Ghenica slowly opened her mouth to answer, " I am running away from the demons" " Perhaps it was the Demon King Cain,... But I don't care, maybe he also doesn't care what may happen to you" the demon announced " Spare me" Ghenica begged " Salamander, kill her" the demon ordered the dragon that is pinning down Ghenica " Wait! I didn't do anything, you weirdo!" Ghenica shouted " You want to die by my hand huh?" the demon gets her on the floor strangling Ghenica using her one hand. " Le.. le..t..go..." Ghenica says as she hit the demon " Let her go! " the Demon King ordered " Demon King Cain" the demon greets him " Demon King Arius" he replied " This human trespasses my territory and she even has guts to call me weirdo," Demon King Arius said as he is still holding Ghenica's neck " That is mine," Demon King Cain proclaimed " Ahahahhahaha" Demon King Arius replied as he squeezes tighter the grip on Ghenica's neck. A split second happened and Demon King Arius's hand went flying while Ghenica is in the arms of the Demon King Cain. " Don't look at me like that, you looked like a kid throwing tantrum because his favorite toy was stolen" the Demon King Arius teasing Demon Lord Cain while putting back his arms again. " Leviathan we're leaving" . . . . . . Ghenica woke up again in a ceiling familiar to her. She slowly looked to her right and saw the Demon King sitting beside her. Ghenica immediately closes her eyes and pretended to be asleep. " Ahem! I saw you" the Demon King said Ghenica still pretended to be sleeping when she heard the clatter of the chair and felt that the Demon King lies beside her. " Kitten if you still pretend to be sleeping I might consider attacking you" the Demon King softly whispers to Ghenica's ear Ghenica jumped and sit up while holding her ears. " I am wide awake" " Now that you are awake, there are things I need to tell you for you to be alive," the Demon King said " What is it?" Ghenica curiously asked " First, don't leave the castle without my permission, next is..." The Demon King was interrupted when Ghenica asked, " wait, can I ask you first something?" " What is it?" " Why you let me live? Are you going to torture me? Like what I said when we first met I am just a passerby" Ghenica said to him " I let you live cause I need your powers, I am not going to torture you hmmm... punishment maybe if you make something I don't like and I don't care if you're a passerby I have interest in you and what you can do" the Demon King answered her truthfully " Ahahaha, what power? I think you are mistaking" Ghenica replied " If I mistake it.... then, you are no use to me" the Demon King replied happily " What do you mean? " Ghenica asked in a shaky voice " I will dispose of you since you are no use" the Demon King replied while drawing his sword "You're not mistaken" Ghenica mumbled " I can't hear you, " " I said. You're not mistaken!!!! You're so mean!!!! " Ghenica shouted at him " Ahahaha, you have guts huh? Shouting to a Demon King.. " " I am not afraid of you because you need me! Besides, how can I move forward if I am a coward" Ghenica confidently answered " You're interesting, are you going to help me? A demon?" he asked while looking at Ghenica's eyes " Then before I answer that let me ask you, what is your purpose? Why are you starting a war with humans? " " I am taking what are ours in the beginning, they are the ones conquering us. Killing us means a trophy for their heroes" " Mmm... " " I know you don't believe me " " Nah, I believe you... I also know you are still hiding something from me but, I owe you my life and I also don't want to die in your hand. Let say I, for now, follow the orders that I can" Ghenica replied " Then, Marry me," the Demon King asked " EH? HUH? WHHHHAAATTTTT???? "
