A psychopath does not show empathy or emotion when it comes to human life. Therefore, a psychopath lacks guilt or remorse if they were to do anything to harm another human being.

Love and affection are clearly things psychopaths are incapable of feeling.

Kim Seokjin, however, oddly finds himself feeling things he has never felt before when he meets Lavana More.

"Mama!" I giggle at the five-year-old. "Sung-Shu, I'm not your Mama, remember? I'm your nanny." He frowns. "But I don't like my Mama." I sadly smile. "But your Mama loves you a lot. I'm sure it would hurt her feelings if you kept calling me your Mama." "But Papa doesn't even love her that much." I nervously glance at the door to make sure his mother couldn't hear us. "Sung-Shu, your Mama and Papa love each other very much. They love you a lot as well." I gently nudge him. "Then why doesn't Papa spend more time with her?" I deeply sigh. "I don't know little one. Come on, nap time." "I don't want to take a nap." He whines. I giggle and whine back. "And why is that?" "Because you're not here when I wake up." "But you'll see me tomorrow." He tilts his head while pouting. "Can't I just stay with you?" "Sung-Shu, I'm not your family." I gently oppose as I tuck him in. "Can you marry my Papa then?" He asks after a little gasp as he widened his big eyes more. I laugh a bit. "Sung-Shu, I already have a man I love. Plus, your parents have been together since they were younger. So much love and history shouldn't be wasted." He huffs. "I guess so. Bye-bye." He cutely waves before I close his door behind me. I smile while shaking my head. "So precious," I mutter under my breath before I was going to make my way downstairs. My smile slowly falls when I see Mrs. Min standing near the door. I quickly bow to her even though she keeps that cold stare. "Your money is on the stand near the front door as always. Take it and leave." She bitterly speaks. "B-But Mr. Min told me to-" "And I'm telling you to leave." She angrily whispers. "Y-Yes ma'am." I nod before going down the stairs to grab my little purse and the money left for me. "Leaving already, Lavana?" "Oh, hello, Hoseok." I wave as he waters the flowers. Hoseok is the Min's family butler.  Not only does his cooking and flowers show his superb work, his lovely smile he always has on makes anyone's day better. "I thought you were supposed to stay until Mr. Min comes back from work." He raises a brow with a confused tone. "M-Mrs. Min doesn't want me to stay." I shyly fiddle with my fingers. Hoseok huff in annoyance. "That woman has been treating you like that since you've started working here last May. You really should complain to Mr. Min." I wave it off. "I'm fine, Hoseok. Really." He nods but looks unsure of my response. "Alright. Here take this to make you feel a bit better." My smile grows a bit when he hands me the vibrant sunflower. "You're too sweet for this world Hoseok." "You're sweet to be letting Mrs. Min and others in our town treat you how they do." He mutters. I sadly shake my head. "A woman of my image can only be treated based on how I look..." "Just because you're a woman with a more given figure does not mean others should treat you so horribly." He angrily huff while rolling his eyes. "I'm fine, Hoseok." "You're right, you are." He smiles a bit. "You have Jimin to show you how you should be treated after all." "Exactly." I nod in agreement. "I should get to the market soon. I have to get the food for our dinner tonight." I grin before waving goodbye. "See you tomorrow!" He waves back. The more I started walking the more I was conflicted on whether or not to stop and take a carriage. Before I can even raise my hand to stop one, I hear the whispers of two women walking by me. "Looks like she wants to take a carriage." One snickers. "She should keep walking. Heavenly Father knows she needs to lose the weight." The other giggles. "Are you seeking a carriage, ma'am?" The older gentleman stops in front of me. "N-No, I deeply apologize." I quickly bow before walking away. **** "Lavana!" I gasp when I feel a pair of strong arms encircle me. "H-Hello, Jungkook." I shyly return the hug before he lets go. "Taehyung! Lavana is here!" He yells past the counter through the window to the kitchen. "Glad to see you, Lavana!" Taehyung waves from the window. "What kind of bread and ingredients are you getting today?" Jungkook asks while handing me a basket. "I may make something simple for Jimin and me." I mutter while putting a few onions and garlic cloves into my basket. "Is that flower also from Jimin?" Taehyung smirks while resting his arms and chin on the window's frame. I smile while shaking my head. "It was from Hoseok." "Jimin might throw a fit." Jungkook chuckles. "Oh hush." I wave him off. "Has Jimin told you about what's been going on in the papers lately?" Taehyung nervously asks. I slowly shake my head. "Why? What's wrong?" "Another prisoner fell to a disease in the prison. They had to...dispose of him." Jungkook frowns.  "They're saying family members shouldn't visit the prisoners anymore until they know if this disease is curable or not." Taehyung nervously sighs. "I'm sure those prisoners are worried." I sadly sigh. Jungkook scoffs. "They shouldn't have committed crimes to get arrested." Taehyung nods. "He's not wrong. They're only paying their prices for what they did." "B-But does losing their lives really have to be a price? Surely some of them didn't really deserve to die." I complain. "Even so, some of them surely will not be missed." Taehyung sighs. **** "Jimin! I'm home!" I yell as soon as I shut the door behind me. "I stopped by Taehyung and Jungkook's shop again today to buy some-" My smile slowly falls when I walk into the kitchen to see Jimin sitting at the table with his head down. My frown only deepens when I see the glass and almost-empty wine bottle on the table near him. "J-Jimin-" "Sorry." His voice is deeper than usual. "I needed a drink when I got home...Work really stressed me out." I nervously glance at him as he gulps down the rest of the bottle. "I-It's fine. I understand how stressed and tired you get." He smiles a bit before standing up to hug me. "I missed you." He mutters into my neck. "I-I missed you too. I should start making dinner for us." I gently push him away before taking everything out of the basket. "By the way, did you want beef stew or-" I watch his expression slowly change when I see that sunflower in his hand. "Where did you get this from?" His tone makes me more nervous. "H-Hoseok gave it to me before I left the Min's home." My hands tense up when he looks at me out the corner of his eye. "Jimin, i-it's just a flower." I mutter. He deeply sighs before putting the sunflower down. I slowly feel more calm thinking he wouldn't overreact. Before I can even blink I feel a harsh slap across my cheek.
