Meeting My Abductor Again

Today was an exhausting day at school, as I took off my satchel and placed it on my bed. I immediately went to my bed and dozed off. I was woken up by my phone ringing and I answered it groggily. "Hello?" "Talia, you are unbelievable you know!" And by that, i knew it was my best friend Mia. "You haven't forgotten about tonight right?" "Oh s**t!" I muttered, I had totally forgotten that today was the day we had signed up to be waitpersons for a function. "You better be getting dressed Talia, I will fetch you in 30 minutes time." Then she hung up. I realized I had slept for 4hrs and it was now 19:30pm. I quickly sprung up from bed and took a short shower. I got dressed in the uniform that was given to us. I tied up my black hair and looked in the mirror to see my bluish green eyes staring back at me. I put on a bit of makeup and I was ready to go. I heard Mia honking outside and I quickly ran to her. "Talia she squealed, aren't you excited? We going to be serving rich people tonight! We better cash in that money tonight." I laughed, and I saw the place was huge when we arrived, written Empress. "Whoa"I muttered looking stunned and Mia also had the same facial expression as me. "You can say that again Talia." We quickly got in, the place was massive with chandeliers, red carpet, tables and a dance floor. We saw a lady in her mid-forties, she was elegant and she started assigning us to do things and prepare for the guests. After we were done, we were told to stand to the side so the guests can enter. After 20 minutes the place was jam packed with tons of people. I mean a lot, they all looked flamboyant. It was tiring and exhausting to run around as these people had never ending demands. "Talia", I heard the lady call me, "here" she shoved a tray into my hands," go to that table a give that man Axel." I took the tray and got to the table with about 16 people and they looked the richest by far. I went to the table and thank goodness they were name tags on to were they were sitting so, I started looking till I saw Axel. Everyone was in a deep conversation and I placed the glass next to Axel and his date, Sophie. When I was about to leave she let out a shriek, which drew everyone's attention to me. "Seriously! couldn't you have just bought the whole damn bottle?" I have never blushed so much in my life, Talia get a grip of yourself. "I'm sor...ry mam"I stuttered. Before she could say anything else I ran to get the bottle of chardonnay. I came back with it hoping they wouldn't realize. When I was back I realized that she wasn't at her seat, which was relieving as I could place the bottle on the table and leave. As I did that and was about to leave, I heard a voice boom and I got a bit of a fright. "Where the f**k do you think you are going?" I started to notice that his hand gripped my wrist and he had pulled me in, and I was a bit bent. "Um....I.. need...to go...serve the other tables Sir" I quipped. "But did I dismiss you?" His eyes were blazing, and his voice was low yet commanding. At that moment I was so relieved when Sophie his date came back and he let me go. And I immediately left, with my heart in my throat and I never looked back even though I could feel his eyes staring at my back intently.
