Just Let Me (Poetry)

A Question Of all the questions I've longed for an answer, Can you at least tell me If what we had was true or just nothing to you? 1. ================== To Forget How can I forget all the things that ache my heart,  If all I remember is the one who broke it, you. 2. ================== Always Knew Why do we keep holding onto things that bring us short-term happiness when even from the very start, we always knew that it could only bring us long-term pain?   3. ================== Feels Right They all say this is wrong, but why does it feel so damn right?   4. ================== Happy With You If being happy with you is something wrong, Well f**k it. I wouldn't want to be corrected 5. ================== Her Walls She have always thought her heart was strong and made of concrete, indestructible; until you came along and broke her walls off. And now look at her, miserable, just because she let you in. 6. ================== All You've Got When all you've got to do is hide the pain, forget the person, and smile again. 7. ================== His Smile All those sleepless nights with a heavy heart and all you feel is the pain inside when trying so hard to forget his smile. 8. ================== Just Let Me Just let me feel the pain Just let me hide it all away Just let me love you this much until it all goes away Because damn, this hurts so much knowing you don't and will never feel the same 9. ================== The Saddest Thing The saddest thing about moving on is convincing yourself that you don't ache for that person anymore; that you accepted the fact that everything has its end. Yet here you are, staring nowhere asking yourself what could've been if you've fought a little harder or stayed a little longer; thinking if it could've changed everything you have lost.   10. ================== Far Away You are the moon  in my night sky You make me swoon, I don't know why Your beautiful solitude mesmerizes me Your mysterious soul hypnotizes me And like the moon I could never reach you, Yes, like the moon, I could only admire you from afar,  far away from you ------------ Today marks super blue blood moon phenomenon 1.31.18 11. ================= My Moon There is always something special about the moon. And everytime I lay my eyes upon it, I fall in love with it over and over again. Like you, you are my moon - your presence touches my soul and your light brightens my outlook in life. And yet, like the moon, I could never be with you, I could never touch your soul; and all I can do is to watch you from afar, shining others with your beauty and solitude. I just want you to know that you will always be my moon - a beautiful mystery I would always want to unfold. 12. ================= Parallel Lines I saw a bouquet of flowers on your hand I wish I could have it, I wish I can Then I saw you look at me as you held her tight I wish I could tell you, I wish I might Then he held me close, farther away from you I wish I could tell him, it was always been you But these words I have should be kept unsaid I wish I knew yours, before we reached the end But maybe our story was something undone From very beginning, fate enjoyed trick on us Because you cannot have a book, with only chapter one Yet we can still get hurt, even if there was never an us xx Maybe, we will always be the parallel lines. 13. ================= Silence I screamed out your name like the sound of the waves,  rushing through the shores  begging the moon to escape I screamed out my aches like a child who rode a bike, fell,  and fractured her bone,  asking for your aid I screamed out all my sorrows like a solitary tree at night,  helplessly looking at its shadow I screamed out all my love  like the rain, that has poured everything for you to have I screamed out everything I had,  yet you can't hear me out because I just screamed it all inside my heart 14. ================= Life Sucks When you feel like you're already dead inside, yet you just try to be strong because you have no choice but to be. Absurd, right? Because that's life. You try to smile even though you're aching inside. You try to understand them even though they don't try to, ever, on you. You try to listen to what they want from you, even though their ears are closed when it comes to yours. That's how usually life works, you have to be strong on your own trying to guard out your walls, even when they try to break them and crush you.   15. ================== Reality All I want is to escape from this From things that hurt And from the moments I miss All I need is to breathe them out,  Those unspoken words in my heart And throw them out my mouth Reality hits me hard, really hard Straight to my bones Like a full-thrown dart Towards a bare skin With a flowing blood 16. ================== Prick When all you feel is pain inside  Your heart seem to stop the rhyme A lingering pain makes you bleed As you remember everything he did When all this hurtful memories haunt  All you ever think of now is to be gone 17.
